The wrong saw of conservatism

The wrong saw cuts wrong every time.

Or they close national parks and monuments. The idea is to get everyone worked up about potential interruptions of services so we’ll write or call Congress and scare them enough to avert the shutdown. This works, or has worked to some extent. The thing is, the “rules” changed in 2008. So now when it goes I’m not always sure it’ll come back.
