Back in ’98 I nodded off for a little while one morning. Shortly before waking I cut my finger in a dream and when I woke up I felt a stinging sensation in that spot for several seconds. Something similar happened this morning. I woke up with a pain in my right knee that I had never felt before. The problem is I remember even less about the dream. I don’t remember falling or if someone hit my knee in the dream. I couldn’t get the pain to return regardless how I moved my leg. I even went hiking today for over an hour and had no problems moving over numerous uneven surfaces.
I have also had several lucid dreams. I’ll have to do some reading to find out if there is a connection to the pain phenomenon.
