I have a couple of essays I am working on. While that’s happening, I am posting images.
“The moral crisis of our age has nothing to do with gay marriage or abortion. It’s insider trading, obscene CEO pay, wage theft from ordinary workers, Wall Street’s gambling addiction, corporate payoffs to friendly politicians, and the billionaire takeover of our democracy.” –Robert B. Reich
I don’t always agree with Professor Reich, but in this he speaks the truth.
I had an elective class to take as a Junior in high school. I was on the science/engineering “track” (algebra-geometry, etc) and the counselor told me I was “too smart” to take the MOCE or Mathematics of Consumer Economics class. I got her permission by telling her that I could work quadratic equations but those wouldn’t help me balance a checking account.
