After a year and 3 months I am finally returning to dayshift. It’s been a long time coming. My two main problems working graveyard were people coming to the door during the day when I have been asleep and the general adjustments getting to sleep initially and back to sleep after being awakened. I did a round of cardio at the gym at 05:30. I’m not sure if I’ll go back into the gym this evening or stick to mornings. I’ll definitely rest better working days once I get fully acclimated to sleeping at night. I’ve been getting up at 1 or 2 and have not been able to sleep after that until the afternoon.
