It seems that the tags at Blogger became categories here. I am going to have to go through all 200+ posts on this blog and convert them. So hopefully we’ll have only forty or so categories when I am done.
This has been circulating the net since at least Tuesday. I am not sure if it is legit or photoshopped. Regardless, they’re pretty disheartening rules. We are living in a bloated, intrusive, over-regulated nanny-state and it would not surprise me to see something like this posted in a public place. It’s always the same excuses with “public safety” near the top of the list.
Right now if you don’t like the rules, you go find a place that is dog friendly and where your backpack isn’t liable to be searched. We need privately owned areas that can be made available to the public for a nominal fee.
Don’t look for there to be different rules at the beginning of September for Labor Day. Once the weight of the yoke on the shoulders of the people is increased the burden is never lessened, even if the purported need no longer exists. The officials will give a new rationalization for keeping things as they are.
