Week 2 Day 1

I managed to intensify things in this morning’s elliptical workout.  I ran on it for about the first 8 minutes of the 40. I got my heart rate up to 144 at one point. Last week when I talked about this I was thinking of extending the time more or less gradually towards 1 hour. Now that I’ve seen what I’m able to do I think I’ll focus on keeping my speed high for as long as possible with a goal of maintaining the same pace for the entire time.
